Sheri Thompson has been bringing a little magic to Charleston since 2019 — one shimmering strand at a time.
​
As the original fairy hair stylist in Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester counties, she’s known for exceptional technique, long-lasting results, and the kind of warm, unhurried attention that turns a simple appointment into something genuinely memorable.
​
With a background as a massage therapist and yoga instructor spanning nearly two decades, Sheri has always been drawn to work at the intersection of beauty, craft, and human connection. Today, that spirit is woven into every fairy hair experience — from birthday celebrations to private appointments.​
After more than thirty years in Mt. Pleasant, Daniel Island recently became her new front porch. Sparkle Charleston travels happily across both — and on to Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms, Cainhoy, and the greater Charleston area.

Beyond her work with Sparkle Charleston, Sheri is a mixed media artist and certified death doula. - work that informs her belief in the power of presence and connection in every season of life. She shares her home studio with Loui, her hypoallergenic bernedoodle and nationally registered therapy dog, who occasionally makes a gentle appearance at individual appointments.
