About Fairy Hair
Fairy hair is safe to wash, blow dry, and color — color won't change the tinsel itself. You can even style it with a flat or curling iron up to 450 degrees and it won't melt. It curls. It straightens. It behaves like real hair, because it's tied to real hair.
Most clients keep their fairy hair anywhere from two to six weeks, though many strands linger far longer. Each one stays put until the strand of hair it's tied to naturally sheds — and how long that takes depends on your shedding cycle, how you care for your hair day to day, and a handful of other variables outside anyone's control.

Before Your Appointment
Come with hair that's freshly washed (the night before is fine), fully dry, and brushed through. Clean, settled hair means any strands with weak follicles have already let go, leaving behind the strong ones that will hold your sparkle longest.
